Right well we have at the moment 19 car spaces & 22 people!
So that means we need 3 more spaces from somewhere...we currently have Nic, RFR, Loz & Dan driving. Does anybody else have a car we can use or is anybody else able to borrow a car from parents for the weekend?? If you can please let me know asap

I’m doing the Twin Peaks but have yet to sort out travel / accommodation. Any chance of tagging along? Happy to drive if required (or if someone else doesn’t want to drive).

Hi Marcus, Yep that's fine no problem! As long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor. I may ask you to drive instead of Liz so she doesn't need to go home & pick up her car but will let you know in the next couple of days.

Eddie Nicholas is coming up now as well and said he is happy to drive some people if required. He would also then want to stay with us.

Evening ShUOC,
The lakes weekend is almost upon us so here are the final details of what you will need:
The journey should take around 3hours; I have arranged cars according to start times, those that havn't pre-entered the event I have put in Lizs' car which will be leaving slightly earlier. Cars will be leaving from Goodwin since this is nice & central & are as follows:
Liz Britton - Anna Douglass, Dan Hartmann, Ingrid Franklin, Alex Moore. Leaving 8am. Loz Ferrand - Chris Lambert, GG's Bitch Street, Cuddles, Rach FR. Leaving 8.30am. Ed Nicholas - Johannes, Jonny The Ent, Kanye West, Emily Wood. Leaving 8.30am. Marcus Pinker - The Ginger Hound, Dave Abrams, Anwen Darlington, Robert Stein. Leaving 9am. Nic (Fell running car) - Rob Little, Mark Hobbs. Leave when you wish!
Coach Kris has planned some afternoon orienteering training for those that are keen after the event.
Accommodation is in Satterthwaite Parish Room & will cost £3.50 each. You will need to bring a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow etc...whatever you need to make yourself comfy! There is a kitchen with cooking facilities if you wish to cook at the hall but I was advised that we should take extra cutlery if planning on eating there as there isn't a great deal; I'm thinking a pub dinner somewhere nearby would be a better bet though! There are no showering facilities at the hall but there are showers at the event. Also there is a meter for heating that accepts 50 pence pieces only so bring a small supply in case it's chilly (although hopefully it'll stay warm).
Don't forget Sleeping Bag/mat Running Kit Wash Kit Compass/Whistle/SI card (We'll be taking the club compasses & whistles if you don't have your own but whistles are compulsory both days!) Normal Clothes Money for whatever food/drink you want.
All drivers should make sure you have a copy of the final details & that you know where you're going. Also ensure you keep a note of how much petrol you have used so we can reimburse you accordingly!
As always any questions please ask & any problems let me know. Also try not to bring too much stuff as the cars may be a bit squishy on the way up.

Ingrid if it's the Satterthwaite in Grizedale forest there are shower facilities down the road at Bowkerstead campsite and the farmer who owns it is probably friendly enough with a little offering.....I stayed there in the summer for NTT
